Ocie M Dart, 85, Rt 1, Oblong, a retired farmer, died Sunday evening at Crawford Memorial Hospital. He was born at Oblong, son of the late John W and Mary Holmes Dart. He was married to Gladys Battershell who preceded him in death in 1975.
Surviving are four sons, John W Dart, Annapolis, Dr Gerald Dart, Paris, Stanley Dart, Ft Wayne, Indiana, and Kenneth Dart, Rt 2, Oblong; two daughters, Mrs Warren (Shirley) Stout, Sumner, and Mrs Charlie (Wilma Jean) Bubb, rural oblong; a brother, Glenn Dart, Chicago; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong, with Rev Willard Metz officiating. Burial will be in the Wilkin Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday.
