He received his Master's Degree in 2009 in military studies from Marine Corps University.
He was survived by a his parents; wife; his 2-year-old son; his brother; his two sisters; five nieces and nephews; and his Godparents.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 16, 2012, at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, Newington, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at St Mary's Church, Newington, CT.
