-- KERSHAW – Funeral services for Bobby Lee Catoe, 72, will be held Monday, July 12, at 2 p.m. at Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Kershaw Cemetery. The Revs. Jamie Rogers, Don Knight and Joey Phillips will officiate.

Mr. Catoe died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at his home. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late William Jackson and Annie Lee Vincent Catoe. He was retired from E. I. Dupont DE Nemours and Co. Mr. Catoe shared a special passion for children and coaching. He coached Little League and church league baseball and basketball for more than 30 years, touching many lives, both young and old. Mr. Catoe was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Ann Allen Catoe of the home; two sons, Paul Calvin Catoe and his wife, Dawanna, of Homestead, Fla., and Bryan Keith Catoe and his wife, Rhonda, of Kingsland, Ga.; and a daughter; Lori Leigh Catoe of Kershaw, five grandchildren, Brad Allen Catoe, Niki Leigh Catoe, Amanda (James) Pettry, Jessica Katlyn Catoe and Braydon Catoe; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Beckham Catoe, Clyde Catoe, Johnny Catoe; and five sisters; Nealie Talbert, Alivia Robinson, Effie Pittman, Helen Craig and Vivian Phillips.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, July 11, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.
