-- KERSHAW – Funeral services for Harold Dorman, 76, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, at Kershaw Second Baptist Church. The Revs. Jamie Rogers, Hugh McKinney and Don Knight will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.

Mr. Dorman died Thursday evening, Aug. 19, 2010, at Providence Hospital, Columbia. Born in the Buffalo community of Kershaw, he was the son of the late Coley B. and Deanie Roberts Dorman. He was retired from the S.C. Public Service Commission. Mr. Dorman enjoyed tailgating at Clemson football games and taking trips to the mountains. He was a former volunteer fireman with the Kershaw Fire Department and a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Cecelia "Teal" Gardner Dorman of the home; two sons, Mark Dorman and his wife, Taaka, Mitch Dorman and his wife, Leah; a grandson, Nicholas Dorman; a brother, Ralph Dorman and his wife, Phyllis, and an uncle; Roy Dorman, all of Kershaw.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kershaw Second Baptist Church, Family Life Center, 7737, Kershaw-Camden Highway, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.
