News-anchor on Swedish television. She was one of the most popular newscasters in Sweden´s leading evening news, ”Rapport” (Report). Suffering from the severe illness ALS (Amyotrofic Lateral Sclerosis), she disappeared from the news at springtime 2003, but then desided to go public about her disease. She released a book on her struggle, ”Ro utan åror” (Row without oars) and a TV-documentary - which was made by some collegues of her, on her own initiative - was viewed on Swedish television the same day she died. She wanted to spread some light on ALS, which is a fatal and uncureable disease.
