My Uncle Alf.
He was the only son of Gustav Backman and Edit Snabb, the only brother of my Auntie Vera, Mom and Auntie Ingrid. He was born and raised in Burnaby, BC.
He married Auntie Joan in 1959 and went on to have 3 wonderful children.
Uncle Alf was a quiet, shy man with a smile for everyone, especially his children and nieces & nephew
He died in a tragic car accident.
