Actress. She is best known for her role as Marcy Hill in the TV comedy series "Benson" (1979 to 1981). Born in Seattle, Washington and raised in Barrington, Rhode Island, the daughter of a doctor, she majored in drama at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and furthered her studies at the Pasadena Playhouse before appearing in the off-Broadway play "An Ordinary Man" (1968). From the late-1960s until the early 2000s, she appeared in a wide range of series and TV movies, beginning with her first major role as 'Janet Mason Norris' in the daytime soap opera "The Guiding Light." Among her many guest performances include "Kojak," "Quincy M.E.," "Soap," "Hill Street Blues" and "Beverly Hills 90210." During the 1970s, she appeared in the Broadway productions "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (1974 to 1975) and "Boccaccio" (1975). She was formerly married to actor Michael Keaton from 1982 to 1990 and they had one son, songwriter-record producer Sean Douglas.
