MRS. MARY VENITA DELGADO, age 52, daughter of a New Haven resident, died at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at Northwest Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where she had been a patient for three weeks after being stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage. She was a former supervisor for the Bell and Howell Corporation in Chicago, and a native of Marion County. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Nelson and a son Henry Randall Delgado, both of Chicago, and two grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Octavia Lucas of New Haven; four brothers, Tony Lucas of New Haven, Joseph Harold, Fern Creek, James Roy, Springfield and Sonny Lucas of Raywick; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Goldman of Fern Creek and Mrs. Mary Ellen Mattingly of St. Francis. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent dePaul Church, New Hope, with the pastor, The Rev. Stanley Osborne, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven, where a prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 tonight (Thursday).
