He was the son of Wymond & Elizabeth (Whitgift) Bradbury, baptized on Feb. 16, 1611 in Wicken Bonant Parish, Essex Co. England, and immigrated to York, Maine in 1634.
Thomas Bradbury, Gentleman, was an Agent or Steward of Sir Ferdinando Gorges, the proprietor of the Province of Maine.
He was a freeeman in 1640 in Salisbury, Essex, Mass., a Captain of the militia, clerk of courts, and deputy to the General Court in '52, '56-7, '60-1, '66 for Salisbury. He married Mary Perkins in May of 1637 in Ipswich.
