Mrs. Myrtle Cavender, 78, died at a Roundup nursing home. A long-time resident of the Lavina vicinity, Mrs. Cavender had resided at the nursing home more than seven years because of failing health.
She was born in Moundville, Mo., Jan. 31, 1876, and was married in Missouri, June 30, 1909, to Sinclair Cavender. They came to the Lavina vicinity in 1914 and resided there until Mr. Cavender's death in 1945.
Services at the Methodist Church in Lavina. Interment in Lavina Cemetery.
Mrs. Cavender leaves three daughters, Mrs. Audrey Utterback of Conrad, Mrs. Belle Rediske of Seattle, and Mrs. Arletta Elliott of Fontana, Kan.; a son, Ervin, of Lavina; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
