Christopher W. Ball, 36 of Parsons, KS, formerly of West Mineral, KS died at 1:59 am, Friday, January 5, 2007 at Labette County Medical Center in Parsons, KS.
Chris was born December 29, 1970 in Parsons, KS to PR and Janet Battitori Ball.
He attended area schools, graduating from Southeast High School with the class of 1989. He went on to attend Labette Community College and PSU.
Chris was a pipefitter working for the local union #441 for the last 10 years.
Chris was of the Catholic faith.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in West Mineral.
Survivors include his parents; brother Doug Ball of West Mineral, KS; wife Maranda Scott of Parsons; daughter Meadow Celeste Bliss of Parsons; niece Zoey Ball of West Mineral, KS; aunt, uncle and 4 cousins.
Chris was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Betty L. Ball and maternal grandparents Eddie and Jackie Battitori.
Funeral services will be 11:30am, Monday, January 8, 2007 at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St. in Weir, KS with Fr. Chrysostom Ah Maung officiating.
Burial will follow in the Star Cemetery in West Mineral, KS.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 6:30 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
The casket will remain closed.
Friends may call the funeral home after 3pm on Sunday.
The family suggests expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the Donor's Choice and/or The Scholarship fund for Meadow Celeste Bliss. Memorial may be left at or mailed to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St. in Weir, KS.
