Actor. He rose to cult status for playing the title role in the horror pictures "Count Yorga, Vampire" (1970) and "The Return of Count Yorga" (1971). In addition, he had memorable performances opposite Vincent Price in "Dr. Phibes Rises Again" (1972) and "Madhouse" (1974). Born in Santa Rosa, California, Quarry began his career in radio and made his theatre debut in the Broadway production of "As You Like It" (1950). Beginning in the 1950s, he would become a familiar presence of the small screen appearing on such programs as "The Philco Television Playhouse", "Studio 57", "The Lone Ranger", "Richard Diamond, Private Detective", "The Fugitive", "Perry Mason", "Ironside", "The Rockford Files" and "Quincy M.E.". His other notable motion picture credits include "A Kiss Before Dying" (1956), "WUSA" (1970), "Deathmaster" (1972), "The Midnight Man" (1974) and "Rollercoaster" (1977).
