Actor. He was a veteran character actor best remembered for his role as Agent Lee Hobson on the 1960s, TV series "The Untouchables". After serving in World War II as a First Lieutenant in the US Army Air Corps, he graduated a drama major from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles and was signed as a young actor to a Warner Brothers contract. With Warners, he appeared in films "Twelve O'Clock High" (1949), "Operation Pacific" (1951), "House of Wax" (1953), "To Hell and Back" (1955), "Torpedo Run" (1958) and "Airport" (1970). His many other television credits included "Dragnet", "Navy Log", "M Squad", "Meet McGraw", "Fury", "Rawhide", "Northwest Passage" and "Bonanza". He also was the half-time master of ceremonies for the Los Angeles Rams home games for thirty years. He died of a heart attack.
