My father loved cats and I got her for him. A few years later he was diagnosed with mesothelioma. They say cats and dogs know, well she did. She was his comfort and his shadow. She loved him and he loved her.
She only lived a few months after he died. I think she grieved herself to death. She would go into his room and look on the bed and under the bed and even in the closet. She would meow and it would be so mournful.
She was the sweetest little thing and I miss her.
