Alfie was given to me by a co-worker at the age of six weeks. Alfie was a fun cat, loved to be in the middle of everything that was going on. Alfie loved company, she would climb up on their lap and enjoy herself. She would never sit on my lap, though she would sit or lay beside me and place one of her paws so it would be touching my leg or hand. Alfie loved sitting by me whenever I was on the computer. She would lay on the desk between the monitor and keyboard and watch me until she fell asleep or she would sit on the back of my chair. She was good at keeping me company. Alfie had a good, long life. She was a house cat until her later years when she would venture into our back yard for short periods. She enjoyed sitting out near our Koi pond. In her later years, my sweet cat Alfie suffered from a heart and thyroid condition. She was 17 1/2 years old when she passed. I miss her.
