Donald R. Beck, 69, Young
America, died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday,
June 23,1991, in his home. Born Dec. 26, 1921, in Young
America, he was a son of Dale E.
and Muriel Gish Beck.

He served in the U.S. Marine
Corps daring World War II in the
Pacific Islands. A retired farmer,
Beck was a charter member of
Young America Lions Club and a
member of Center United
Methodist Church and Veterans of
Foreign Wars. He was Deer Creek
Township Trustee from 1955 to
1959.

Surviving are three sons, Kim E.
Beck of Hollywood, Fla., and Dale
Edward and Don C. Beck, both of
Rt. 2, Galveston; a brother, Max D.
Beck of Young America; a sister,
Margaret Platt of Kokomo; and six
grandchildren
Services were this morning in Center Cemetery
