BEVERLY LORRAINE RICHARDSON RAHWAY Beverly Lorraine Richardson, (nee Martin) of Rahway, New Jersey, (formerly of Jersey City), answered God's call on Monday, June 29, 2009, at her home. She was born on October 19, 1944, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Kathleen Martin and the late William Martin. She was employed as an officer for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Service, for over 30 years, retiring in September 2008. She was a very active member in her church. She was also a dedicated member ofthe Police Benevolent Association, Federal Order of Police, the Sentinel Society, National Organization of Black Women in Law Enforcement, and a lifetime member of the NAACP. Surviving to cherish her loving memory: mother, Kathleen Martin; son, Michael Berry; daughter, Lorraine Berry; brothers, Theodore and Franklin Martin; daughter-in-law, Aisha Berry; sister-in-law, Mary Martin; special sister, Joyce Jeter; goddaughter, Cecile Sosa; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. Funeral Mass on Monday, July 6, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., at Christ The King Catholic Church, 768 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey. Interment to follow at Bayview Cemetery, Jersey City, New Jersey.
