John R. DAGUE, 28, R.R. 1, Lucerne, died at midnight Tuesday in the Wishard Memorial hospital, Indianapolis, of injuries suffered in a July 7 plane crash. Mr. Dague suffered severe burns ovr 93 percent of his body when the airplane he was piloting struck a tree while he was spraying crops near Logansport. He was born Aug. 23, 1950 in Logansport to Joe and Dorthey HAMON DAGUE, who reside at R.R. 2, Kewanna. He was married Sept. 28, 1968 in Kewanna to Kathy FRYE, who
survives. Mr. Dague was a pilot for Good and Dague Flying Service corporation. He was a 1968 graduate of Caston high school, where he was most valuable athlete in track and cross country. He was a member of the Metea Baptist church, the Flying Industries organization and the Lions club of Grass Creek. He was a partner in the Good and Dague Flying Service corporation, and attended Ball Technical school in Narhville, Tenn. Mr. Dague was with the 434th Tactical Fighting Wing, 71st Squadron, at Grissom Air Force Base for six years, serving as a mechanic on the A37 jet fighter plane. He was discharged from the Air Force as a staff sergeant two years ago.
Surviving with the wife and parents are three brothers, Joe E. DAGUE, R.R. 2, Kewanna,Jim DAGUE, R.R. Kewanna, and Jeff DAGUE, Walton; three sisters, Judy ULERICH, R.R. 2,Kewanna; Jean GALLOWAY, Waterloo, Ia., and June CASANET, Lima, O. Two sons preceded him in death.
Services are pending at the McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum funeral home, 1603 East
