Beloved husband of Linda Louise Wilson Hettinger. Beloved father of Pamela Suzanne Hettinger Babers and Jeffrey Paul Hettinger. Beloved grandfather of 4. Served in the USMC from 1966-1970. John received 2 Purple Hearts and the Silver Star for his duty in Vietnam. Resided in Logansport, IN most of his life. Died at home of pancreatic cancer. Buried in the Veterans section of Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
