Anna "Ann Christian" was the daghter of Georg Paulus and Margaretha Menges of Hebstahl, Germany.
She married Johan Jacob Schumpert Dec 9, 1744 in Beerfelden, Germany.
The family came to America 1762 on the Brittania from Europe.

Arrival of Bounty:..
Ann Christian Schumpert, age 38. John Peter Schumpert, age 13. Maria Eliz'h, age 8.

(Council Journal 32, pages 846-850...Meeting of Oct 17,1766.
The following persons presented to his Excellency petitions setting forth they were protestants and had come into the Province from Germany on the Bounty, etc:--)

Ann's marker has not been found in the Schumpert Cemetery.

Ann is my 5th great Grandmother.
