Sabra Jane, "Grandma Jane" daughter of Henry C. and Elizabeth TAYLOR Arbuckle, was born in a covered wagon coming from Milam, Gibson Co, Tn to Tallahatchie Co, Ms. When she was three weeks old the wagon was parked beside the new court house in Charleston, Ms. She always swore she remembered that new, shiny white court house. She really remembered her mother telling about holding Jane out back of wagon to see the court house.

Jane married Hampton Holcomb Little 29 Dec 1859 in Charleston, Tallahatchie County, Mississippi and moved into his log house. She had nine children and raised six. She lived in that same house, with improvement, until she died 4 July 1931, at age 92.

I can barely remember her since I was eight when she died, but my mother, Grandma Jane's granddaughter, said she was a sweet lady filled with life and fun.
Grandma Jane was my great grandmother.
