Martha Howell first married John H. Jennings 1859/1860. They had one son, MD Lafayette Jennings. After John H. was killed in the Civil War Martha married Andrew Jackson Newton about 1866/67 in Calhoun County, Ms. They had four children.
Martha Howell was the daughter of Russell Jones Howell and Elizabeth JOHNSON Howell.
Martha died and is buried in Calhoun County, Mississippi. Cemetery unknown.
She was my great grandmother.
