Lova Lorraine Kack, age 59, died September 10, 2014 in Seattle, Wash. the cause was cancer, an unexpected diagnosis that took her from us quickly. Lova was born in Phoenix, Ariz. on August 19, 1955. She was the youngest of four children. She graduated from North High School and worked at Phoenix General Hospital. She moved to Edmonds, Wash. in her mid-20's with her mother, Evelyn Holm, to join her sister, Connie Daniel and her family who were residing there. She worked at Blue Cross of WA & AK/Premera for over 30 years; it was there that she met her husband, Karl Kack. They enjoyed traveling, fishing, reading, crocheting and doing needle point together. She was an animal lover and enjoyed her dogs and cats especially her beloved cat Peta. Lova was residing with Karl in Everett prior to her death. She was predeceased by her father, Carl Holm and mother, Evelyn Meyers-Holm as well as her siblings, Carolyn Ward, Connie Daniel and Calvin Holm. She is survived by her husband, Karl, their sons Karl (Skip) and Shannon; their granddaughters, Danielle and Kaylee as well as a wealth of nieces and nephews from the Kack, Ward, Fenimore, Newman, Holm and Daniel families. She was a kind, funny and giving person that will be truly missed by all. An informal memorial is to be held in her honor at the Comfort Inn/Suites at 6311 33rd Ave. NE Marysville, WA 98271 on September 27, 2014 from 12:00-3:00 pm, a small buffet will be provided. Please bring your favorite memory or story of Lova to share.
