Henry Glenn Henbest was killed in action while serving in France during WWII. He was a private, Co. F, 7th INF, 3rd DIV.
After finding this stone with the picture of Henry in uniform I wondered if this same photo had been placed on a table by a mother and father. I'm sure that any parent that would place this kind of memorial to a son would in fact have looked at the photo at each passing and said a prayer for Henry's safe return from war.
Henry did return home... and is now 'home' to rest and fight no more...
