Graveside funeral services for Freddy Mullen of Lake Village, AR, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. Bro. Robert Magee will officiate the service.
Mr. Mullen died of complications from surgery at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, AR, on Thursday, January 9. He was 66 years old.
Mr. Mullen was born in Carroll County on January 31, 1947, to James William and Corro Lee Alderson Mullen. He was a television repairman and a Baptist. He served as a Carroll County supervisor for eight years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, David Mullen.
Survivors include his daughter, Jenny Mullen Coleman of Lake Charles, LA; son, Jason Mullen (Karen) of Lake Charles, LA; sisters, Ina Jo Maxie of Brandon, Linda McDonald (Bobby) of Durant, Betty Lane Flynn (Mike) of Winona; brother, Bobby Mullen (Wanda) of Vaiden; his significant other, Barbara Lindsey; three grandchildren, Cameron Herring and Jenna and Zack Coleman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
