HOLCOMB - Mildred Lee Jackson, age 86, years young died on Wednesday April 30, 2014 at her Residence surrounded by her immediate family. She was born on October 08, 1927 to the Late: Bourbon and Lillie (Massey) Berry in Braxton MS. She was a graduate of Valley Public School in Carroll County, and retired from Gibson's Department Store after 20 years of service, also was a seamstress and caretaker. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Greenwood, MS, and enjoyed fishing. She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis A. Jackson Sr, and a sister Juanita Bush.

Visitation will be held on Saturday 05/03/2014 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 05/03/2014 1:00 PM Graveside in Mount Pisgah Cemetery with President Kevin Hessey officiating. Burial will be at the Mount Pisgah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Curt Jackson III, Omar Kazery, Joseph Kazery, David Kazery, Simon Kazery, and Austin Kazery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bryan Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Dr Walter Moses, and Jimmy Switzer.

She is survived by 2 Daughters, Jackie (Gene) Wilson of Horn Lake, MS, and Ren (Sam) Kazery of Jackson, MS, 1 Son, Curtis (Marcia) Jackson Jr of Holcomb, MS, 4 Sisters, Mary Ann Pilecki of Greenwood, MS, Betty Wilson of Buffalo, NY, Bertha Conjulusa of Greenwood, MS, and Brenda McDowell of Santa Rosa, CA, 2 Brothers, James "Sonny" Berry of Greenwood, MS, and Jerry Berry of Libby, MT, 11 grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
