Billy Ratliff was the son of James Allen Ratliff and Mary Etta NAIL Ratliff.
Billy Ratliff married Dorothy Mae Jones June 15, 1951 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. They had six children; three daughters, Doris Jean Roberts (deceased); Beverly Jane Claburn and Barbara Joan McNeely. The three sons are William David Ratliff; Richard Allen Ratliff and Joseph Lee Ratliff. They have twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Billy Ratliff was a butcher in Tchula, Holmes County, Mississippi before moving to West, Mississippi where he owned a farm and raised cattle. He always had a large garden and raised the largest red tomatoes.

Billy Ratliff was a US ARMY Veteran serving in the Corps of Engineers in WWII.
Billy was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a good and true husband, father and friend. He is greatly missed.
