---Funeral services for Floyd Buck, 64, who died Tuesday morning at his home in Elmer, were held at 2:30 P.M. Friday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Buck of Elmer.
---Services were conducted by Rev. Arthur Drake of Elmer and burial was in the Elmer Cemetery. The body was at the McCollum Funeral Home in South Gifford and was taken at noon Friday to the Buck home to lie in state until the funeral hour.
---Mr. Buck was born January 29, 1902 at Mercyville, the son of William H. and Froney May (Carter) Buck. He was married to Hazel Fortney in Centerville, Iowa.
---Surviving are his wife of the home; one son, Gary Buck, in the armed services; his parents and several nieces and nephews.
---He had been preceded in death by an infant daughter and one sister.
