JOSHUA J. BEALL
---Joshua J. Beall, a well known and highly respected citizen, passed away at his home in north La Plata this morning at 3:00, age seventy years and eighteen days. Mr. Beall had been in poor health for some time and his death came not unexpected.
---He is survived by four sons, A.O. and John of La Plata, W.A. of Oakley, Kansas and James of Washington; two daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Mason of La Plata and Mrs. Susan McKasson of Idaho.
---Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the home at 2:00, conducted by Rev. A. H. Foster, pastor of the Baptist Church. Interment in La Plata cemetery.
See his Missouri Death Certificate #17612 for more information. His death certificate says he died on May 22, 1918 but his obituary and cemetery records (taken from stone inscriptions) give a death date of May 23, 1918.
