Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 9:15 from the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing to St. Andrews Apostle Church, 768 Lincoln Avenue, Calumet City, IL for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
William was very fond of his pets. He loved Max, Daisy, Poncho and Sparky. William was a WWII Army veteran. He enjoyed watching basketball and he was an avid Bulls fan for many years. William enjoyed Opera music and his favorite crooner was Pavarotti. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
William was born in in the city of Valenzano, in the Province Bari in the Puglia Region of Italy. The Puglia Region is referred to as the Apulia Region in the USA.
