HARRY CRIBB
---Harry Cribb, 67, of Novelty, died at 10:30 Friday morning in a Kirksville hospital whee he had been a patient since August 18.
---Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 at the Presbyterian Church her with Rev. Dr. Evert L. Haney officiating. Burial was in the La Plata Cemetery.
---The son of William and Bessie (Hawkins) Cribb, he was born April 9, 1896 in Alexis, Illinois.
---Surviving are two sisters, Lissie Chadwell and Mrs. Tom (Emily) Garrett, both of Novelty; four brothers, Fred Cribb, Frank Cribb and Arthur Cribb, all of La Plata and Ernest Cribb of Peoria, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
---He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
---Mr. Cribb had farmed five miles southeast of La Plata until his retirement in the Spring of 1962.
---He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was a Veteran of World War I.
---Wilson Funeral Home was in charge. Bearers were Orval Bokemeier, Norval Romjue, Herschel Love, Caryle Carter, Cleophas Kautz and Sam Hays.
