---Carrol D. Barnett, 65, formerly of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday (October 25, 1992) in Napa, California.
---The son of Perry Earl and Aurilla Douglas Barnett, he was born October 29, 1926 in Adair County. On June 2, 1947 he was united in marriage to Marie Salisbury who preceded him in death on February 3, 1988.
---Also preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers in infancy; one niece; one nephew; one sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
---Surviving are one daughter, Beverly Alameda and two grandchildren, Jeff and Cinda all of Napa, California; one sister, Margie Wylie of Ft. Sumner, New Mexico; one brother, Harold Barnett of Kirksville, Missouri; one uncle, three aunts and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
---Mr. Barnett joined the United States Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict and remained in the service for some time. In 1958 he and his family moved to California where he was employed as a parts manager in GMC garages until his retirement in 1987.
---The body had been cremated and a memorial service will be held at two o'clock Thursday (October 29, 1992) at the Richard Pierce Funeral Home in Napa, California. Interment of the cremains will be made at a later date in the Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville, Missouri under the direction of the Travis-Noe Funeral Home, Kirksville, Missouri.
