CHARLES "PETE" RAYMER
---Charles R. "Pete" Raymer, 60, of LaPlata, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening (November 5, 1992) at Kirksville Osteopathic Medical Center.
---Born August 21, 1932 in Edina, Missouri he was the son of Charles C. and Maud (Cheatum) Raymer. On June 5, 1956 in Bakersfield, California, he married Joyce Wilmer, who survives.
---Also surviving are two sons, Chris Raymer of Macon, Missouri and Church Raymer of LaPlata, Missouri; one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Vicky) Wood of Macon, Missouri; five sisters, Doris E. Pruitt of Edina, Missouri, Mildred Pyles of Licking, Missouri, Betty Jo Parrish of Knox City, Missouri, Margaret Jean Smith of LaPlata, Missouri and Dorothy Wheeler of Edina, Missouri and seven grandchildren.
---He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, George; and a nephew, Mackey Raymer.
---He worked for Home Hydro in Shelbina. He was also employed with Sears Roebuck for 20 years, and was self-employed for the past 10 years in the service repair field. His family was a big part of his life.
---Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (November 8, 1992) at the Travis Funeral Chapel in LaPlata. The Reverend Charles Hall will officiate the service. Music will be provided by Shirley Matticks, organist and Melody Sevits, Soloist. Burial will be in the LaPlata City Cemetery with full military rites.
---Visitation will be held from (7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday (November 7, 1992) at the Travis Funeral Chapel, 125 Church Street, LaPlata, Missouri.
