Alfredo Rivera, Sr., age 75, late of Seattle, WA, formerly of South Chicago, IL passed away in his sleep on Sunday, November 14, 2010.

Beloved husband of the late Angelina Rivera (nee Lopez). Loving father of Al (Delia), Jr., Ava Marie (Robert) Santiago, Ramona (Jaime) Gonzalez; Joe, Angie, Steve, Rick, Christina (Leo) Nuñez, Jesse (Donna) and Gilbert Michael. He was the devoted grandfather to 27 and dear great-grandfather to 19.

Beloved son of the Late Ramona Olvera (Late Jesse) Jacinto; dear grandson of the late Ramon Olvera and Late Manuela Ontiveros Olvera De La Rosa; dear nephew of Late Jose Nieves (Late Lupe) Olvera, Sr.; fond cousin of Late John Roman (Late Virgie) Ontiveros Rita Olvera (Eugenio Sr.) Sanchez, Maria Estefana Olvera and Late Jose Nieves Olvera, Jr. and Ruben Rodriguez.

Alfredo proudly and honorably served in the U.S. Air Force; he retired from the Air Force with more than 20 years of service. He also retired from the American Legion Post # 220.
