Ramiro Vargas, age 83 late of South Chicago, passed away Thursday December 7, 2006.

Loving son of the late Frank Vargas and the late Angelina Melgoza.

Caring brother of Sophie (Raul) Robledo, Rosie (Roberto) Vazquez, Rebecca (late Rudy) Ledesma. Caring brother of the late Raul Vargas and the late Edward (Gloria) Vargas.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ramiro proudly and honorably served his country in World War II with the United States Army and was awarded four Bronze Battle Star.
