Cpl. Adam D. Jones, 29, of Germantown, Ohio, died April 27 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Adam previously served in Iraq and Haiti. He was deployed to Afghanistan from July 2010 to October 2010 and most recently was deployed again in February 2011. He is survived by his wife of four years, Sarah Jones, mother Carolyn Jones Hibberd, sister Kelly Jones-Collins, brothers Mark and Travis Jones and other relatives.
