He married the love of his life Nancy Catherine Green Bell 1941 when they were both 19 years old and walked hand-in-hand together until her death in 2001. During WWII he served in the Army Air Corps on the Marianne Islands in the South Pacific. He worked for Houston Saw & Knife Works in Houston, Texas for over forty years from 1950 until he was in his 70's. He died of double pneumonia after living several years in a nursing home. He was the ultimate Good Samaritan and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his six siblings and his loving wife, Nancy Catherine Green Bell. He is survived by his daughters, Karen Ann Lee and Janet Kay Baker of Tomball, Texas; son, Steven Lorren Bell of Houston, Texas; 2 granddaughters, Courtney Jordan Baker of San Antonio, Texas and Shannon Haley Bell of Tomball, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
