Joseph Thele

Joseph H. Thele passed away at his home on Route 1, Lutesville Monday. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thele, was born June 25, 1890 in Cape Girardeau. On October 11, 1927, he was married to Miss Regina M. Koenig, who survives. Mr. Thele was a farmer. Also surviving are one son, Henry J. of Lutesville; five daughters, Mrs. August (Jane) Beussink of Lutesville, Mrs. Frank (Frances) Crain and Mrs. Theodore (Anna) Kieffer both of O'Fallon, Mrs. Edward (Loretta) Ashcraft of St. Louis and Mrs. Richard (Geneva) Elfrink of Leopold; 22 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, one brother, Henry J. and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Debrock and Mrs. Gerhard Vandeven (Anna) all of Lutesville. Funeral services will be held Thursday at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, with burial in the church cemetery. Rosary was recited Wednesday at the funeral home.
