ROCKVIEW, Mo. — Gladys Anna Enderle, 74, of Rockview died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Glennon, Mo., daughter of Anthony John and Rosella Mary Horrell Koenig. She and Elmer P. Enderle were married Oct. 22, 1955.
Enderle was a cook eight years at St. Ambrose Catholic School. She retired as a line operator at Blair Industries in Scott City. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Daughters of St. Ambrose.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Leo (Connie) Enderle of Chaffee, Steven (Sheilah) Enderle of Scott City, Dwayne "Butch" (Glenda) Enderle of Peyton, Colo., Tim (Teresa) Enderle of Scott City; three daughters, Wanda (Herb) Blattel Jr. of Arbor, Mo., Gail (Danny) Walter of Chaffee, Shannon (John) Chanley of Gordonville; three brothers, Eugene Koenig of Edwardsville, Ill., Emmett (Lou) Koenig of O'Fallon, Mo., Elmer (Ida) Koenig of Marble Hill, Mo.; two sisters, Dorothy (Cy) Glueck of Cape Girardeau, Berneice (Ralph) DeBrock of Jackson; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Janetta Koenig; and an infant son.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at St. Ambrose Church. The parish rosary will be recited at 7, followed by Knights of Columbus prayer service at 7:15.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery.
