The 4th of 9 children, and the first son born to Joseph & Mary "Hosenfelt" Koenig. Commonly called by his nickname of Tone.

Tone married Rosella Horrell on Jan. 26, 1926, she proceded him in death in 1965, they had 7 children together. Tone married Mary Lee Starns on Jan. 21, 1978 she passed away the folowing year in October. Mary had been married to Tone's younger brother Joseph until his death in 1976.
