JOSEPHINE VANGENNIP
Miss Josephine Rose VanGennip, 38 years old, died Monday at the family home south of Lutesville. She was born June 3, 1923 at Dongola. Survivors are her step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thele of Lutesville, two half-sisters, Mrs. Geneva Elfrink of Leopold and Mrs. Loretta Ashoff of St. Louis, three step-sisters, Mrs. Jane Beussink of Lutesville, Mrs. Frances Crain and Mrs. Anna Keiffer both of O'Fallon and a step-brother, Henry Thele of Lutesville. Her father and one sister preceded her in death. Services were conducted Wednesday at St. John's Church in Leopold. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery. Rosary was recited Tuesday at Baker Funeral Home in Lutesville.
