Chris was the daughter of Charles & Theresa "Flieg" Trautman. She married Oscar Lurk and had three children, Marcel, Jeanette, & Rosanna.

Chris suffered from Parkinson's Disease for over 30 years, yet lived to be 94. Due to Parkinson's, Chris fell many times causing broken bones, she had broken both hips, collar bones, and had numerous other fractures over the years. She finally allowed herself to be placed in a nursing home where she lived for over 20 years.
