Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Averil and Fern Smith Sourbeer and the wife of the late Carl H. Mull, who died in June 2003.
Catherine was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School, class of 1947.
She was employed as an inspector for 25 years with Hamilton Watch Company, retiring in 1991.
She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ and the Guys and Dolls Senior Club. She was formerly an avid bingo player. Catherine was a loving mother, and family was most important to her.
Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Ann Consylman, wife of Tom, of Peach Bottom; two sons: David C. Mull, husband of Julia, of Lititz; Michael J. Mull, husband of Cathy, of Holtwood; seven grandchildren: Steven, Ryan, Heather, Brianne, Seth, Colin and Madison; six great-grandchildren: Mike, Sylvia, Amber, Amanda, Abby and Owen and two great-great-grandchildren: Aiden and Damion. Also surviving are two brothers: Richard and Terry Sourbeer, both of Lancaster. Preceding Catherine in death were a brother, Averil Sourbeer, Jr., and two sisters, Dorothy Jane Weaver and Margaret Kirchner.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Catherine's Life Celebration Funeral Service at the Funeral Home of Fred F. Groff, Inc., 234 W. Orange St., Lancaster, PA, on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Harry Royer officiating. Interment will be in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call at Fred F.
