Margaret “Peggy” McPartland, 85, of Upper Darby, a woman devoted to her family and faith, died July 12 in Upper Darby, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a resident of Upper Darby and a member of St. Alice Church for 48 years.
Mrs. McPartland worked at Valu-City in Springfield, PA , where she was named “Employee of the Year” at 80 years of age.
She was devoted to her family and loved vacationing in Disney World and spending summers with her family in Ocean City, N.J.
She also enjoyed the Phillies, puzzle books and watching the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN).
Mrs. McPartland was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jim McPartland October 31, 1999.
Survivors: Sons Jim McPartland of Upper Darby, PA , Dennis McPartland of Springfield, PA ; daughter, Maureen Bailer of Ridley Park, PA ; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Mass: 11 a.m. Friday, St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA.
Visitation: 9:30-10:45 a.m. Friday at the church.
