Larry Roy McCord, age 58 of Clayton, a faithful servant, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2012. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Larry was an accountant and a member of Covenant Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years: Rebecca (Brown) McCord, daughters: Emily (David) Kemp of Englewood, Natalie (Nate) Teffeteller of PA, Sara McCord of Union, Kathryn and Kristin McCord of Clayton, parents: Edward and Elaine (Hummel) McCord of Beavercreek, siblings: Gary (Joanna) McCord of Beavercreek, James (Becky) McCord of West Carrollton, Susan McCord of FL, Carrie (Drew) Brown of IN, Tim McCord of Columbus, Amy (Scott) Luettich of ME, Betsy McCord of Beavercreek, Ted McCord of Columbus, Edie (Eddie) Pitstick of FL, grandchildren: Abby, Mya, Mitchel, J.D., Keagan, Cameron, Becca, Anna, father-in-law: Rev. William I. Brown of Clayton, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). Interment will be held privately at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville with Rev. Kelvin Benton officiating.

A Memorial Service will also be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Covenant Baptist Church (3424 Old Salem Rd.) with Rev. Drew Brown officiating.
