Loveday Sweet Bishop age 84 of Rivers Edge, Prince George, died Friday, February 25, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Francis Bishop; her parents, Zeb V. Sweet and Margaret Tucker Sweet Sasser; her step-father, Garland C. Sasser, Sr. and her brother, Garland C. Sasser, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Carole B. Lyman of Matoaca; a son, Blake Bishop and his wife, Marguerite of Prince George; four grandchildren, Michael , Michelle and James Lyman and T.R. Brockwell; eight great-grandchildren, Nicole, Jennifer, Victoria, Ashley, Matthew, Tiffani and Brandon Lyman and Bradley Brockwell; two sisters, Frances S. Ferguson and Vivian S. Warthan both of Hopewell. Mrs. Bishop was a retired Nursing Asst. at John Randolph Hospital having served for over 25 years and was also a member of the John Randolph Auxillary. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, February 27 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 28 in Appomattox Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to First Christian Church of Hopewell or Central Virginia Hospice. Condolences may be registered online at www.jtmorriss.com.
