He was pastor of First Reformed Church (now Christ UCC) in East Mauch Chunk (now Jim Thorpe) from 1894-1902. From 1902-1912 he was pastor of the Numidia Charge outside of Catawissa, Columbia Co., PA. From 1912 until his death in 1932 he was pastor of St. Paul's Reformed Church in Northampton, PA.
