Mom was such a caring and wonderful person,
you taught me everything someone needs to survive in life
except how to live without you.

I got a picture of you that I carry in my heart, Close my eyes to see it when the world goes dark. Got a memory of you that I carry in my soul, I warp it close around me when the night get cold.

I wonder if my first breath was as soul-stirring to my mother as her last breath was to me...

"A Message From My Heart To You."

Today as I sat thinking,
I want to leave a message for each of my children.

As I grow older and getting more tired,

I think of my Master, my loving God.
When he decides it's my time to come home, I am ready to go.

Please miss me and love me, but do not grief, because I am going home, with the loved one's gone on.
Up there, I know there will be no worries and no tears.
I hate to leave behind the ones I love most; you all have been the love of my life, the fullest of my dreams.

Please remember me with laughter and joy, because that's just what I had with each one of you.

For my loving daughters, my most precious son, and all my wonderful grandchildren.

Momma's Touch

Mom, I dreamed of you last night.
You stretched out your arms and hugged me tight.
And just for a moment there it seemed
That your touch was real, not just a dream.

I had talked to God just hours before
And told Him "Lord, there is nothing more
That could satisfy or comfort me
Than for my mother's face to see."

God heard my prayer and though His grace
Mom, I looked upon your face.
I felt your hug, your love, your touch-
The very things I needed so much.

There is a void in my life still-
A place that no one else can fill.
But precious memories I have of you-
And I have God to lean on too.

So Mom, until that glorios day
We walk hand in hand in Heaven I'll pray
That once again through God's loving grace
I'll feel your touch and see your face.

Your Son,
Jamey.

It has been way too many long lonely years since you left this world to go to heaven.
A beautiful soul that touched our hearts, that now in heaven lives.
So many tears has fallen with each passing day.
