Our Mom --Joan was born Jan 20, 1935 in Philadelphia, Pa. the daughter of Clarence and Margaret Horn. She was the youngest of 6 sisters. She attended school in Pennsylvania.
Mom was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church. She married James Carroll Fleck on December 15, 1956, in Pitman New Jersey. The first song they ever danced to was Elvis's "Don't be Cruel"
They moved to Dallas Texas in 1960 and to Sherman in 1970. They had 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls. She was a huge fan of Elvis. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mom loved to cook, needle work, spend time with the grandchildren as well as spoiling them, she also had a wonderful sence of humor. Mom worked at WNJ Hospital for many years as a Unit Clerk, and retired there.

On April 5 2003 Mom was diagonised with lung cancer. She fought a good fight, and the Good Lord saw fit to call her home on June 5 2003. Not once during the two months did she ever complain. She fought it with dignity and courage. The St Mary's Knights of Columbus served a pall bearers. Left to mourn is her sons, Derek, Jeff, James, and her daughters Jennifer, Denise and all the grand children
