Elsie (Kamon) Baird, 82, of Tunkhannock, died Thursday at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Born Dec. 21, 1919 in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Ada Stair (Powell) Stackhouse. She was a waitress for many years for Shadow Brook Resort and later at the Cross Country Restaurant, both of Tunkhannock. She attended Russell Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emmanuel Kamon; second husband, Malcolm Baird; and brothers, Gordon and Lawrence. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
